Vermox Suspension and Vermox Tablets (mebendazole) are prescribed to treat intestinal worm infections, such as threadworm (pinworm), whipworm, roundworm, and hookworm. Mebendazole belongs to the anthelmintic group. It works by blocking the worm’s access to glucose, which kills it.
Dosage
The dosage is determined by the prescribing doctor and depends mainly on the type of infection. The choice of tablet or suspension will be based on which is easier to take. 5 ml of suspension contains the same dose of mebendazole as one tablet.
