This formula includes vitamins, minerals, and herbs that work together to boost immunity during flu season. It contains high amounts of zinc, vitamin D, vitamin C, astragalus, and licorice and is suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

Dosage
The usual practice is to take one capsule daily before a meal.
To protect Active Guard from damage, note that exposure to heat, air, light, and moisture can be harmful to medications and supplements. Store Active Guard in a cool, dry place, such as a drawer or cabinet, away from heat sources such as stoves or hot water tanks.
Vitamin C is recognized for its role in supporting a strong immune system. Since the body cannot produce vitamin C internally, it is necessary to obtain it from daily dietary intake or supplements.
Zinc is an essential nutrient that aids in immune system and metabolism function. It also plays a crucial part in wound healing and taste and smell perception.
Illnesses like the flu, mono (kissing disease), and measles can temporarily weaken the body’s defense system. Factors like smoking, drinking, and unhealthy eating and sleeping habits can also make the immune system less effective.

Excessive vitamin C intake: Taking more than 2,000 mg of vitamin C daily can cause stomach issues such as diarrhea and nausea.
Excessive Zinc intake can cause nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, cramps, diarrhea, and headaches.
Excessive vitamin D intake: Taking too much vitamin D can increase calcium absorption, leading to very high calcium levels in the blood and causing nausea, vomiting, muscle weakness, mood changes, pain, loss of appetite, dehydration, frequent urination, excessive thirst, and kidney stones.
Excessive intake of licorice root: Consuming large amounts of licorice root or using it long-term may cause high blood pressure and low potassium levels.
