Did Zoomind replace Vayarin?

Table of Contents

Simply put. The answer is yes. Prior to 2018, a pharmaceutical company based in Israel known as Enzymotec produced a very effective oral medication known as Vayarin. It was relied upon as an effective treatment for children affected by attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) by many families all over the world. It brought real relief with few negative side effects.  However, in 2017, Enzymotec was sold to another company, which withdrew Vayarin from the market because they had plans to use the factories that were making Vayarin for other purposes, not because of any problems with the product itself. Many people who had been relying on Vayarin were then needing another over-the-counter medication that worked as well as Vayarin, and the Israeli generic drug manufacturer Teva launched  a similar product called Zoom, which was effectively the same medication as Vayarin, with the same ingredients and formulation, and administered the same way. But that was removed from the market as well.

Welcome to the world, Zoomind.

Introducing Zoomind, a natural ADHD support supplement
Zoomind like Vayarin before it, is a non-prescription dietary supplement formulated to promote clarity and focus and support symptoms of ADHD.  It contains a unique formula of phosphatidylserine, L-Tyrosine, and Omega-3. Zoomind is not a drug or a stimulant, and is non-addictive. It comes in capsule form. The recommended dose is two capsules daily with food. Some key Zoomind benefits.
  • Omega-3 is an essential food component that boosts the body’s supply of dopamine, which is required in neurotransmission. Many prescription medicines for ADHD also try to target dopamine production, which is essential for the brain’s functions of cognition and memory.
  • Phosphatidylserine’s role is in keeping the mind and memory sharp. It covers and protects cells in the brain and acts in transmission of messages between them by enhancing the activity of dopamine neurotransmitters.

Does Diet Affect ADHD?

It is generally agreed that ADHD cannot be directly caused by diet. One study found the exact opposite – that “children with more ADHD symptoms may be at higher risk of an unhealthy diet but that overall diet quality does not affect ADHD risk.”  On the other hand, there is considerable agreement that boosting the levels of polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs), particularly omega-3 fatty acids, can benefit people living with ADHD.  Omega-3 itself is not produced in the body, but must be part of the dietary intake. The best natural dietary source of PUFAs is cold-water fish such as salmon, sardines, tuna etc. However, modern diets are generally lacking in sufficient amounts of these.

How Does Zoomind Work?

Zoomind is specifically designed to increase the volume of omega-3 fatty acids your child’s body receives. The human body cannot manufacture omega-3 fatty acids on its own. It receives them through the food they eat or else with a dietary supplement. Omega-3 boosts the body’s supply of dopamine, which is required in neurotransmission. Many of the prescription medicines for ADHD also try to target dopamine production, which is essential for the brain’s functions of cognition, memory and focus.

How Do I Buy Zoomind?

You can buy Zoomind right here, without prescription. Zoomind is available in capsule form and has minimal known side effects or drug interactions, making it easy to add to the daily diet of a child with ADHD.

FAQ

What is ADHD?

ADHD is one of the most common neurodevelopmental conditions in children. It causes a range of disruptive and hyperactive behaviors. The American Psychiatric Association groups ADHD into three broad categories:Woman-Holding-Pill-Vitamin
  • Predominantly hyperactive/impulsive people have trouble remaining silent and still when required to focus. They appear to be constantly confused and moving around, lack attention, exhibit excessive chatting, cannot queue patiently. They act irresponsibly and interrupt and stop group conversations.
  • Predominantly inattentive people are easily distracted and quickly lose concentration. They lose things; they tend to give up boring or time-consuming tasks, do not seem to carry out instructions by constantly shifting attention between tasks, and struggle to prioritize them.
  • Combined inattentive-hyperactive people display both of these types of behavior – both inattentive and hyperactive.

What can cause ADHD?

There are many instances of people developing ADHD when it is not directly attributable to a single root cause. The consensus among doctors, psychologists and social workers  currently is that ADHD has many contributory factors. These are, in turn, the result of a wide range of entirely independent causes. Amongst others, some of the accepted causes of ADHD are:
  • Genetics – there is a substantial degree of inheritability
  • Conditions in the womb – studies have found a correlation between fetal development, infant brain size, and the occurrence of ADHD. It may be attributable to toxins in the mother’s diet, alcohol intake or smoking
  • Premature birth – which may result in under-developed brains
  • Head injuries while a child is young

What can improve the lives of people with ADHD?

Simple dietary supplements are available with high levels of omega-3, especially with the compounds that are known to be most beneficial for ADHD in children, eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid.  Start by consulting with qualified healthcare providers and your friendly pharmacist to see the best course of action. Your child is unique and requires special attention, which only you and they can give.

How is Zoomind taken?

Zoomind capsules can be swallowed whole with water or juice, or opened and sprinkled on food such as peanut butter, applesauce, yogurt, jelly and hazelnut spread. It can also be mixed into a beverage. For the best taste when combined, be sure to try it in cold food or beverage. It would help if you encourage your child to eat the entire dish.
