NuvaRing (etonogestrel and ethinylestradiol) is a contraceptive vaginal ring used to prevent pregnancy. Each ring contains a low dose of two female sex hormones that are slowly released into the blood circulation. Because of the low amounts that are released, NuvaRing is regarded as a low-dose hormonal contraceptive.
Ethinylestradiol and etonogestrel are female contraceptives that, in combination, prevent ovulation. The medication also causes changes in the cervical mucus and uterine lining, making it harder if an egg has been released, both for sperm to reach the egg and for a fertilized egg to attach to the uterus.
NOTE: Due to storage requirements, the maximum order quantity is three units.
Instructions for using NuvaRing are on the instruction leaflet that comes with the product or can be accessed on the internet
here. Follow these instructions, and if you have any questions, consult a doctor or chat with our support team
