MONUROL is indicated only for the treatment of uncomplicated urinary tract infections (acute cystitis) in women due to susceptible strains of Escherichia coli and Enterococcus faecalis. MONUROL is not indicated for the treatment of pyelonephritis or perinephric abscess.

  • When is the best time to take Monurol?
    It is advised to take Monurol 2-3 hours before or after a meal, preferably after emptying the bladder and right before going to bed.
  • How long does it take Monurol to cure UTI?
    An improvement in condition and a decrease in symptoms is expected 2-3 days after taking the initial dose. If there isn’t improvement, contact the prescribing doctor for further treatment.

    Monurol is used to treat uncomplicated urinary tract infections (UTI) in women. Monurol is an antibiotic that stops bacteria growth in the infected area.
