Edronax (
generic name: reboxetine) is an antidepressant primarily used to treat
major depressive disorder (
MDD). It belongs to a class of drugs known as
selective norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors (NARIs), which work by increasing the levels of norepinephrine in the brain to help alleviate symptoms of depression.
Reboxetine is often prescribed when patients do not respond well to other types of antidepressants, such as selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (
SSRIs) or serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors (
SNRIs). By targeting norepinephrine, Edronax can improve mood, energy levels, and motivation, making it a viable option for patients suffering from severe depressive episodes. For more detailed information, refer
