Like all medications, Reolin may cause side effects. Most are mild and temporary. However, you should be aware of potential reactions.
Common Side Effects
- Nausea or vomiting
- Heartburn or indigestion
- Runny nose
Serious Side Effects
Stop taking Reolin and contact your doctor immediately if you experience any of the following:
- Difficulty breathing or wheezing
- Skin rashes, hives, or severe itching
- Fever
- Coughing up blood (bloody sputum)
Reolin (Acetylcysteine 200mg) is primarily used to break down and thin mucus in the airways. It provides relief for a variety of respiratory conditions, including:
- Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)
- Asthma and seasonal allergies
- Chesty colds and acute bronchitis
- Cystic Fibrosis
- Pneumonia and tuberculosis (as an adjunct therapy)
It can also be used to help reduce symptoms of depression, obsessive behaviors, and certain cravings.
