Most people who use Mirvaso do not experience any adverse side effects. Doctors prescribe this medication because they assess the benefits of such treatment outweigh any likely unwanted effects.
Some of the side effects that have been reported include flushing, excessive whitening (pallor) where the gel is applied, skin redness, burning feeling of the skin or itching. These usually clear up within a few hours after the application of the gel.
Patients should seek immediate medical care if they experience serious reactions, such as severe skin irritation or inflammation, skin rash, skin pain or discomfort, dry skin, warm skin sensation, tingling or sensation of pins and needles or swelling of the face, worsening of rosacea. persistent burning, swelling, fever, or signs of infection (e.g., oozing, increased redness).

Mirvaso is applied to the skin of the face to treat redness due to rosacea in adult patients.
Redness of the face due to rosacea is caused by high levels of blood flow in the facial skin, which is the result of enlargement (dilation) of
the small blood vessels of the skin.
Stopping the treatment before time can cause the disease to come back to its initial state. Only discontinue treatment after consulting a doctor.
Mirvaso should be applied in a daily routine. If you miss a daily dose, do not apply a double dose to make up, but just continue the treatment as prescribed.
Use of more than 1 gram within a single 24-hour period can result in side effects such as low blood pressure, or drowsiness. Care must be taken not to allow children to ingest the gel, and if this occurs, the child must be taken to an emergency healthcare facility immediately.
