Gaviscon is used to provide relief from the symptoms of:
- Acid Reflux (GERD): A condition where stomach acid flows back into the esophagus, causing irritation. Gaviscon creates a barrier to prevent acid from rising.
- Heartburn: A burning sensation in the chest or throat, often occurring after meals or when lying down. Gaviscon neutralizes stomach acid to relieve pain quickly.
- Indigestion (Dyspepsia): Discomfort in the upper abdomen from acid buildup, bloating, or gas. Gaviscon helps by neutralizing acid and easing symptoms.
