When is the best time to take Toviaz?

It makes no difference whether Toviaz is taken before or after meals. However, the tablet must be swallowed whole with a drink, preferably water. The tablet releases fesoterodine fumarate steadily throughout the day, so it should not be chewed or crushed before swallowing.

Can I just stop taking Toviaz?

Can you drink alcohol with Toviaz?

While there are no direct contraindications, some cautions are necessary. In hot environments, decreased sweating can result when Toviaz is taken, and severe heat illness could result. As well, drinking alcohol while taking Toviaz may cause drowsiness.
