Loniten is approved for the treatment of severe hypertension, particularly in cases where other antihypertensive agents have proven ineffective. Hypertension is characterized by persistently high blood pressure, which can lead to complications such as heart disease, stroke, and kidney problems if left unmanaged. While Loniten is primarily indicated for hypertension, it can also be prescribed to control hair loss with medical guidance.
