Estring is a hormone therapy used to treat post-menopausal changes in and around the vagina. It addresses vaginal dryness, burning or itching, recurrent urinary tract infections, discomfort during sex, urinary urgency or frequency. Estring is a small, flexible silicone ring with a center that contains 2 mg of estrogen named estradiol. It releases a consistent dose of estradiol into the vagina that lasts 90 days. Some benefits of using Estring include maintaining the health of the urinary tract lining, thus reducing the potential for recurring infections. Also, restoring thickness and moisture to the vaginal tissues which alleviates symptoms such as dryness and discomfort.

Headache

Breast pain

Bloating, abdominal cramps

Irregular vaginal bleeding or spotting

Vaginal yeast infection
